Hello there. I'm so pleased to meet you!
My name is Iva (pronounced Eva), I was born in the Czech Republic, but came to the UK thirteen years and settled here in Woking, Surrey. I have two beautiful children. A boy aged ten and a girl aged nine. We share our home with two lazy cats, as well as lots of happy go clucky chickens who kindly lay eggs for us most days. Life is busy but I wouldn't change a thing.
I’m a full time professional photographer and it really is a dream because for me, taking photographs is a way of capturing moments and feelings, telling the real story of everyday life. I wish I had more photographs from my own childhood, this inspires me every day to create beautiful memories, not only for my family but yours too. Little moments for you to hold onto forever that would otherwise be lost or forgotten.
It’s what I love to do and I’m grateful that I get to work with many wonderful families.
My approach.
Capturing the natural, timeless beauty of family life.
I believe that family life is best documented in natural environments, thats why you get to choose where your session is held, we can shoot at your home, a beautiful countryside location or I have a cosy home studio suitable for newborn sessions.
My sessions are always lovely and relaxed so you can be your true selves. I will seek out the beauty in your everyday interactions, the way you hold onto your little one, the way they reach out to you, a certain look, a particular smile a hidden moment of tenderness and love that might otherwise go unnoticed. This approach allows me space to create beautiful timeless photographs that show your unique love and who you really are.
I’m a big believer in the art of printing your photographs and I’m proud to say that each one of my sessions includes the most beautiful quality prints for you to touch, hold and keep safe forever.
